RTÉ Big Music Week comes to Westport

National TV and radio celebs are banding together to take part in RTÉ Big Music Week. From left: Miriam O’Callaghan, Sinéad Ní Uallacháin, Kathryn Thomas, Marty Whelan and Ryan Tubridy.

The RTÉ Big Music Week train will be greeted at Westport station from 7.20pm on Wednesday, October 2nd, by the Clew Bay Pipe Band, accompanied by young local musicians. From 8pm, in Matt Molloy’s Pub in Westport, Sharon Shannon, Mundy, Matt Molloy, Laoise Kelly and lots of local talented musicians will be playing a one-off free gig, broadcast live on the John Creedon Show on RTÉ Radio 1.
