Westport Businesses Among Finalists for 2016 Mayo Business Awards

Westport businesses are once again among the cream of the crop in Mayo as local businesses made the list of finalists for the 2016 Mayo Business Awards.

The Mayo Business Awards returned in 2015 after a hiatus to huge success and the 2016 Awards look to once again recognise the very best of business in Mayo. Westport businesses are in the running for six of the thirteen categories in this year’s Awards and will hope to continue the success from last year.

Three Westport Chamber members are among the businesses shortlisted with Hotel Westport nominated in the Best Hotel Award category, AIA Loss Assessors up for the Best Professional Services Award and Westport House looking to scoop the Best Tourism Business Award. There is also a mention for last year’s Tourism Award winner, Clew Bay Bike Hire who this year are shortlisted for the Customer Service Award with Cabots of Westport and Education Desty rounding out the Westport finalists in the Micro Enterprise Business and Most Innovative Product/Service awards respectively.

The winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Night in the Twin Trees Hotel in Ballina on Friday November 4th. Tickets for the event cost €60 per person and are available online through Eventbrite at the following link: https://mayobusinessawards2016.eventbrite.ie.

There will be a four course meal with guest speakers on the night from the world of business. It promises to be a high calibre and prestigious event and will provide a unique environment for business networking opportunities.
