FREE AIB Information Morning - Tuesday June 16th

Westport Chamber is hosting a FREE Information Morning in conjunction with AIB Westport on Tuesday June 16th in the Town Hall, Westport. The event will look to cover areas relating to SME businesses and highlight the services available to companies through AIB.

Town Architect, Simon Wall, will also be there on the day to give a guided tour of the newly renovated Town Hall Theatre.

Presentations will begin at 9.30am and should last for no longer than one hour in total with tea & coffee served from 9.15am.

Manager of AIB Westport, Joe Cawley, will focus on SME Lending and services available for business looking to get off the ground or expand.

Ollie Harte, Cash Management Specialist at AIB, will look at Internet Banking and how businesses can reduce their banking costs by using online tools and services.

John Carey, Social Media Manager with AIB, will present on how SME's can use Digital Marketing to effectively grow their business, covering areas like social media, Google search and AdWords, online content and mobile.

Declan Torsney from AIB Merchant Services will also be on hand with a demo of AIB’s Clover™ till system.

Westport Country Markets Ltd.

Westport Country Markets opened in October 1987 and over the years it has expanded and is now a thriving business with a wide range of local produce and crafts available at the weekly market every Thursday in St Anne's Boxing Club on James St.

Produce on offer include organic vegetables, potatoes and herbs, fresh fish, local cheese, flowers, freshly baked goods and jams while there is also a selection of cards, photography handmade soaps & textiles, knitwear, birchwood puzzles and other traditional or handmade crafts on sale.

All goods supplied by members are produced locally and use native and local materials where possible.

The Westport Country Market takes place all year round on every Thursday morning from 8.30am to 1.00pm in St Anne's Boxing Club in James Street Car Park.
