Benefits of St. Patrick’s Day Missions Outweigh Cost

Chambers Ireland has today (23/02/15) welcomed the announcement that Government Ministers will continue to travel abroad this St. Patrick’s Day to represent and promote Ireland overseas.

Speaking this afternoon, Ian Talbot, Chief Executive, Chambers Ireland said “St. Patrick’s Day is our national day, but it is celebrated across the world. The global attention placed on Ireland during this time presents us with a unique opportunity and one that should be harnessed to help foster international trade and tourism links. The ‘Promote Ireland’ programme is the perfect opportunity to showcase what Ireland has to offer to trade partners, tourists and potential investors. We support the Government’s efforts to use this uniquely Irish opportunity to its fullest potential.
