Takeover to air on Thursday for Clew Bay

Westport’s family-run Clew Bay will feature on this weeks Takeover show on RTE 2 at 9.30pm. The staff were given the reins for ten days while the managers, Darren Madden and Maria Ruddy took a back seat. Westport Train Station Shortlisted

Westport train station has been shortlisted in the Iarnród Éireann Best Station awards. It came under the Best Connaught Station category, and will hopefully win this to proceed to be considered for the Overall Best Station in Ireland award.  Voting was conducted through a questionnaire with almost 15,000 voters....
