The Chamber is affiliated to the Chambers in Ireland (CCI) which lobbies for business at national and international level.

Chamber Committee

The Chamber consists of a committee and executive which are elected at an Annual General Meeting of its members. Our current elected president is Mr. Maurice Mellotte.

Chowder is best in the West

Congratulations to Frank Walsh and John McGrath from the West Bar after securing the winning place for the second time in the annual Chowder Cook-Off in Kinsale. They competed against 32 of the top chowder producers in the country and wowed 900 voters with their culinary delight. Westport Tourism Survey Launch

  In 2012, Westport Tourism commissioned a ‘State of Tourism’ survey for Westport.  This was designed to analyse the reasons tourists choose Westport. Westport Eleven-Twelve is based on a survey of visitor attitudes. The launch of Eleven-Twelve will take place at Knockranny House Hotel on Thursday, May 30 at 7pm.
